A warm farewell in Kigali

Our last hours in Rwanda were spent lounging by the lovely pool with excellent food. Dinah at reception went above and beyond to assist us with check-in troubles.

The airport shuttle cost $35, which felt steep for a quick drive. I expected it to be free or less considering the short distance.

I had a disappointing experience with the room assignment and payment process, which overshadowed the overall stay. My guest received a standard room instead of the superior one I booked.

All Pros, no Cons (or vice versa)

This property genuinely impressed me with its lovely outdoor area and nutritious breakfast! I felt welcomed by the friendly staff, making for a pleasant experience.

I encountered some issues with maintenance as my room air conditioning didn't function adequately! This detracted from my overall comfort during the stay.

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored the Animal Orphanage and enjoyed a fabulous dinner by the pool. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh fruits. The crew was super friendly and made us feel right at home.

The only hiccup was the room setup. we requested two single beds but got a big double instead, which was a bit uncomfortable for sharing.

This was just a fitting option for a short staycation in Kigali with definitely value for money. I enjoyed breakfast outside overlooking the pool, and the variety of foods offered was nice. Check if there are any big events happening during your stay to avoid the rush.

Conveniently located near the city center, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. The breakfast selection shines, especially the array of fresh fruits, making for an energizing start to the day.

The facilities exhibit signs of age, from worn light switches to problematic door closures, diminishing the five-star feel. My stay coincided with a major conference, leading to mix-ups with room assignments and disruptive disturbances at odd hours. Additionally, one of the air conditioning units struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, leading to an uncomfortable night of sleep.

I had a superb time at the hotel the breakfast buffet was like a feast with everything you could imagine and the staff was as friendly as they come. The rooms had everything from comfy beds to a balcony overlooking the pool, perfect for a drink or two at night.

It wasn’t inexpensive but we got good value for our stay.

I loved the spacious suite we were upgraded to! The breakfast spread was delicious with diverse options. Enjoyed a relaxing jet lag massage at the spa. However, the slow service at the restaurant was a disappointment. Be sure to tip early for stress-free pampering!

I loved my stay in the Superior Double Room! The spa was heavenly, with an lovely massage that melted my stress away. And let’s not forget the breakfast buffet-an absolute feast with fresh fruits and a variety that set my day off perfectly!
